Dinner with the Secretary of State Mr Wladyslaw T. Bartoszewski – 3/05/2026

On 3 May 2026, the Australian Institute of Polish Affairs (AIPA) had the honour of hosting an exclusive dinner with the Secretary of State (Deputy Minister) in the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, during his visit to Australia.

We were delighted to welcome a distinguished group of VIP guests, including our new Head of Mission, Chargée d’Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland to the Commonwealth of Australia, Ms Karolina Patrycja Cemka; Consul General, Mr Piotr Rakowski; and Director of the Department of Cooperation with Polish Community Abroad, Ms Anna Sochańska.

Held at the elegant Sandringham Yacht Club, the evening provided a wonderful setting for meaningful conversations and valuable networking among AIPA members and supporters.

Minister Bartoszewski shared insights into Poland’s recent achievements and highlighted exciting opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Poland and Australia in key areas, including the economy, education, and strategic military support. A memorable evening celebrating partnership, dialogue, and future collaboration.
